👶🏾 Marshall Medical Center has been selected as a site for Golden State Start, a first-in-the-nation program providing 400 free diapers to every baby born at participating hospitals. 🍼

In just one day, Marshall distributed an incredible 2,800 diapers to local families!

Golden State Start is a program of the State of California through the California Department of Health Care Access and Information (HCAI) and is expected to continue through at least May 2028.

We’re proud to support our newest little community members and their families! 🩷

The First 5 El Dorado Baby Corner at the El Dorado County Fair is back! Free diapers, wipes, water and sunscreen will be available. A quiet, cool place to decompress and tend to your littles with free resources. Located in the Marshall Building.

⚠️ Power Outage Update
Marshall Hospital’s main campus is currently experiencing a power outage due to a PG&E transformer failure last evening. Our generators are running smoothly, and patient care is not affected.

Surrounding clinics are not affected and are operating as normal.

Some scheduled surgeries for today may need to be rescheduled. Please call (530) 622-1441.

Girl Scout Troop 1283 celebrated their Founder, Juliette Gordon Low’s birthday by gifting a basket of baby items to the first baby girl born on October 31st!
