We had the sweetest visit today when one of our resident's great‑granddaughters from Plainfield High School stopped in to sing for everyone. Her music brought so much joy to our residents and reminded us how special our Plainfield community and family connections truly are 💛🌼🎶

Our residents had a pizza-tively wonderful time celebrating National Pizza Month by creating their very own delicious pizzas! 🍕👩‍🍳 From choosing tasty toppings to sharing laughs with friends, everyone enjoyed showing off their creativity and making their perfect slice. 🍅🧀

Giving back and working together! Our CarDon team recently joined Lifeline Christian Mission for a meal pack event, working together to prepare meals for those in need. A portion of our donation will also support an upcoming community meal pack at their center. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make a difference in our community!

🧡🍂 First Day of Fall Picnic at Pioneer Park 🍁🎃

A cool, crisp autumn day set the perfect scene for an afternoon at Pioneer Park in Mooresville, IN. While the temperatures reminded us that fall has officially arrived, the delicious food, wonderful company, and time spent together made the day warm in all the best ways. Surrounded by friends, laughter, and the beauty of the season, our residents made memories that will last long after the leaves have fallen. 🎃🍂

A special thank you to our Dietary Manager, Jeff Whitaker, who joined us and prepared a fantastic meal for everyone to enjoy. 🧡🍁

🍂 Happy First Day of Fall! 🍁

The autumnal equinox arrives today, September 22, at 8:05 p.m. EDT, officially beginning astronomical fall in the Northern Hemisphere.

At that precise moment, the Sun crosses the celestial equator heading south. The word “equinox” comes from Latin words meaning “equal night,” although daylight and darkness are not exactly equal today because of atmospheric refraction and the way sunrise and sunset are measured.

From here, the days will continue growing shorter and the nights longer until the winter solstice in December.
