As an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in Family Medicine at Duly's Westmont clinic, Therese sees her role as much more than diagnosing and treating an illness. It’s about building trust, creating a space where patients feel comfortable being themselves and being there for them through every stage of their health journey.

“One thing that has always stayed with me is how much a patient can open up when they feel that someone is truly listening,” Therese shared. “Knowing that I can make someone feel a little more comfortable, understood and supported is one of the reasons I love what I do.”

Join us in congratulating Duly OB/GYN Dr. Jean Alexandre on being named the recipient of Midwestern University's Class of 2026 Outstanding New Preceptor Award! 🎉

Since January, Dr. Alexandre has welcomed physician assistant students into his practice for Women’s Health clinical rotations, helping future clinicians strengthen their skills while challenging himself to stay current on the latest evidence-based care.

“Mentoring students is a great way for me to reinvigorate my career. These students have actually taught me and keep me on my toes,” he says.
