Trauma and grief do not only live in the mind.
They live in the body, the nervous system, the silence, the tension, and the moments we struggle to explain.
When pain is not processed, the body often carries the weight of it.
Our nervous system can stay stuck in survival mode long after the trauma has passed. Sometimes it shows up through exhaustion, anxiety, emotional numbness, or even difficulty speaking and expressing ourselves.
Healing is not weakness.
Releasing grief is not “letting go” of love.
It is allowing the body, mind, and soul to finally breathe again.
Your body remembers what your heart has survived.
Be gentle with yourself through the process.
