Something special happened at the AT&T Connected Learning Center at the Janet Goeske Foundation & Senior Center in Riverside, California.

Older adults picked up a VR headset for the first time and traveled to Paris. To Quito. One participant returned to her grandparents' home in Greenville, South Carolina. Others went skydiving, took in a Broadway musical, and got moving with immersive therapy games.

That's the whole idea behind Mynd: making the window to the world bigger for older adults, their minds and bodies healthier, and technology less intimidating along the way.

We're grateful to AT&T and the team at Janet Goeske for hosting, and to everyone who tried something new alongside their friends and neighbors.

Our own Chris Brickler recently sat down with AT&T to talk about our collaboration and the work we're doing to bring immersive therapeutic experiences to older adults, veterans, and people living with dementia, PTSD, and chronic pain.

Today is PTSD Awareness Day. 🎗️

PTSD affects millions of people, including many of the veterans who served our country. It can show up as sleepless nights, anxiety in everyday situations, or a sense of distance from loved ones.

At Mynd Immersive, we aim to address feelings of anxiety, depression, and isolation through immersive experiences that bring calm, connection, and a sense of escape.
