Katie and Kelsey are officially Somatic Experiencing Practitioners (SEPs)!!!

Becoming an SEP requires 3 years of 216 hours of education and 30+ hours of consultation and personal sessions. This journey has been as challenging as it has been rewarding 😭 So much gratitude for the friendships, learning, growth, and healing over the last 3 years. We’re so excited to be able to offer clients this deeper level of healing and incorporate more trauma touch into our office.

Pet grief is odd. And not talked about nearly enough. Stabler would have been 9 years old today. It’s weird to think he only had 3 years here, bringing comfort, smiles, and love to clients (and strangers). He was (and still is) so woven into the fabric of our office.

Kelsey wrote “Stabler’s Important Job” as part of her own grief process and to keep Stabler’s sweet spirit alive in the world. This book is through the eyes of Stabler as he lives his life and ultimately dies unexpectedly. He walks us through what grief is, what we can do, and how to hold space for the heaviness of loss.
