🧊 Feet that always feel cold, look pale or bluish, or ache when walking (but ease with rest) can be signs of Peripheral Artery Disease — a narrowing of the arteries that reduces blood flow to your legs and feet.

👣 PAD often gets overlooked because symptoms can be subtle at first. Left unaddressed, it can increase the risk of slow-healing wounds, infections, and more serious complications.

Signs worth paying attention to:
🔹 Cold feet or legs, especially compared to the rest of your body
🔹 Leg pain or cramping while walking that eases with rest
🔹 Slow-healing sores on the feet or legs
🔹 Skin that looks pale, shiny, or discolored

👨🏻‍⚕️ Our podiatrists know how to evaluate circulation issues thoroughly — not just treat the symptoms. Don't ignore cold feet that don't have an obvious explanation. Reach out to Ashton Podiatry today.

If a cut, sore, or ulcer on your leg or foot just isn't healing the way it should, it may be pointing to something deeper — poor circulation. Conditions like Chronic Venous Insufficiency and Peripheral Artery Disease can slow healing dramatically, allowing minor wounds to linger or worsen.

Signs worth paying attention to:
🔹 A wound that hasn't improved in a couple of weeks
🔹 Discoloration or swelling around the area
🔹 Increasing pain, drainage, or odor
🔹 Skin that feels cool or looks pale nearby

With over 30 years of combined experience, Dr. Roy Ashton, Dr. Aaron Abraham, and Dr. Alexander Barney know how to look beyond the wound itself to identify the underlying cause — and get you on the path to real healing.

Don't wait on a wound that isn't improving. Reach out to Ashton Podiatry today.

🦵🏻 Varicose veins aren't just a cosmetic issue — they can signal Chronic Venous Insufficiency, a real problem with the valves in your leg veins. Left untreated, it can lead to swelling, skin changes, even sores.

👨🏻‍⚕️ The good news? Early diagnosis makes a big difference. With 30+ years of combined experience, Dr. Roy, Dr. Abraham, and Dr. Barney know exactly what to look for.

Stay active, comfortable, and pain-free. 👣

Here’s the truth about off-the-shelf insoles: they’re made for everyone, which means they’re made for no one in particular. Custom orthotics are built from the exact shape of your foot to correct alignment, ease pressure, and put an end to recurring heel and arch pain.

👨🏻‍⚕️ For patients across Dallas and Plano dealing with plantar fasciitis, flat feet, or all-day foot fatigue, a custom orthotic can be the difference-maker. Our doctors will evaluate your gait and design support that’s truly yours.

👟 Schedule your custom orthotic consultation at Ashton Podiatry today.

Is one of your toes starting to curl? 🦶🏼

Hammertoes develop when the tendons and muscles around a toe fall out of balance, bending it at the middle joint. What starts as a minor bend can progress into stiffness, corns, and pain that make everyday shoes uncomfortable.

👟 The earlier it's treated, the more likely conservative options—such as roomier footwear, custom orthotics, and protective padding—can help relieve symptoms and slow its progression.

👨🏻‍⚕️ If a hammertoe has become rigid or painful, our experienced team also offers advanced treatment options designed to restore comfort and function. Our goal is always the same: helping you stay active, comfortable, and pain-free.

📍 Schedule your evaluation with Ashton Podiatry Associates in Dallas or Plano to learn about your treatment options.

🦶🏻 Is your bunion getting worse? Here’s how to slow it down: choose wide-toe-box shoes, skip the daily high heels, add supportive insoles, and get it evaluated before the joint stiffens.

➡️ A bunion is progressive, so the earlier you act, the more options you keep. A quick visit now can save you a bigger problem later.

🏥 At Ashton Podiatry, prevention is our priority. Serving Dallas and Plano.

👟 Pushing your foot into a shoe shouldn't bring tears to your eyes.

Ingrown toenails are one of the most common foot conditions we treat—and one of the most treatable. While it may be tempting to try removing the nail yourself, at-home "bathroom surgery" can make the problem worse and increase the risk of infection.

👨‍⚕️ Our team provides safe, effective treatment to relieve pain and help prevent recurring ingrown toenails in Dallas, TX and Plano, TX.

✨ Relief may be faster than you think.
