Carrollton Power Hour is a relaxed, relationship-focused networking event where local senior care professionals can connect, share ideas, and build meaningful relationships. There's no pressure and no hard selling, just genuine conversations with others who are passionate about serving seniors.

They meet on the second Tuesday of every month and rotate locations throughout the Carrollton area. We hope to see you there!

At just 9 months old, Stephen survived a traumatic burn injury that shaped his extraordinary strength and outlook on life.

Years later, severe back pain and declining mobility led to spinal surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center Clements. He chose Acute Rehabilitation Hospital of Plano for the next step in his recovery journey. He came with one goal: to return home to Lubbock for the holidays.

With one-on-one therapy, 24/7 rehabilitation nursing, and physician-led care, Stephen made significant progress. At discharge, he had regained independence with activities of daily living, was walking again with a walker, and could navigate stairs. He planned to continue his recovery through our outpatient rehabilitation program with the same therapy team that supported him during his inpatient stay.

We are grateful to the UTSW care management team for coordinating his transition to our hospital. It was an honor to support Stephen, but his strength and resilience made this achievement possible and reminded us that our patients are the real heroes. Here’s to you Stephen, and to all the new adventures waiting for you!
