Therapy with purpose, personality, and a little boxing.

Victor, one of our Physical Therapists, is working with Mr. Horn, who is living with supranuclear palsy, by incorporating 🥊 BOXING 🥊 into his therapy session.

Because Mr. Horn has a history with boxing, this activity is familiar, meaningful, and motivating. It also helps challenge important skills like standing balance, weight shifting, coordination, strength, and endurance.

At Acute Rehabilitation Hospital of Plano, our therapy team looks for ways to connect treatment to each patient’s goals, interests, and real-life function.

After a devastating motorcycle crash…
