Here's the difference.

Play is powerful — but not all play is play therapy.

Parents often ask what’s the difference or “all you guys did was play?”

In some sessions, play is a tool to help kids open up. In others, like in play therapy, it’s the whole language we use to understand their world, it’s way more than just play.
