Corinth Rehabilitation Suites On The Parkway held a week of staff appreciation luncheons, and Neptune Plano Service Manager Michael McNew brought food and other goodies for 20. The Corinth folks invited him to join their meeting and enjoy some fellowship, and even gave Michael the floor to talk about the benefits offered by Neptune. He was a big hit!

Our Plano folks wanted to show their appreciation for the workers at area COVID testing sites, so they brought a Texas-style lunch of
tacos from Rudy's "Country Store" and Bar-B-Q & some swag on the side. No cameras allowed, but we can report lunch & other goodies were happily received! Words can't express our gratitude for these more-than-essential front line workers. ❤🌮🌮❤

Rest in Peace Kenneth.

After running with great endurance the race set before him, finished strong and entered the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 8, 2020. His devotion to his family and his firm belief in Jesus supported him and brought him great peace along his journey. Born October 21, 1944 in Bryan, Texas, Ken was well renowned for his trademark smile. A smile that he put to good use throughout his long professional career – as well as in his active roles in ministry.

Celebrate the life of Kenneth Cox, leave a kind word or memory and get funeral service information.

Our team made the local FOX 4 News for our donation of a pop-up tent – a “Chatter-Box” – for residents of The Hillcrest of North Dallas nursing home. Since families are not allowed in the building because of the pandemic, the tent lets Hillcrest residents sit outside on one side of the fence and their families on the other, with a plexiglass divider. We know this is a terribly hard time and we all could use a hug, but we're so glad we could help bring loved ones safely closer. 💜😷

Our Neptune Dallas team donated masks to the residents and staff of The Hillcrest of North Dallas Nursing Home – to go with their own incredibly cute dinosaur masks – so they and their loved ones could go out and safely see each other via a "Jurassic Park"-themed parade. The residents were all spaced 6 feet apart, and families came by in their cars ("because the dinosaurs may bite!"). As we can see, the nurses and therapists had almost as much fun as the residents.

"It was so touching," said service manager Tim Smith. "I cried like a baby."

Us too. 😭 💜

In the next couple of weeks, Hillcrest will be opening to family visits, and our Neptune team will provide a tent for the families to wait under when signing in.
