Before starting occupational therapy with Living Rehab, Ms. Barbara was experiencing dizzy spells, near falls, and a loss of confidence that kept her from fully participating in activities within her community. Everyday routines had become more difficult, and her family was concerned about the changes they were seeing in her physically and emotionally.
By receiving therapy onsite through Living Rehab, Ms. Barbara was able to work on meaningful daily activities in the comfort and familiarity of her own community. With encouragement and support from her therapy team, she gradually regained confidence, improved her safety with mobility, and became more engaged in her daily routine and community activities. She has since progressed from remedial therapy to maintenance services and is now completing her desired activities with the support of a rollator.
Her daughter, Katherine, shared: “I thought we were seeing the beginning of her ending. Working with Megan perked her up physically, mentally, and emotionally. There was an immediate difference. Her whole demeanor got brighter. Megan’s positive approach and friendliness really meant a lot to her.”
