The right eye product really depends on what you’re trying to treat. 👀✨

Dryness, puffiness, fine lines, dark circles, pigmentation, and a sensitive skin barrier are all different concerns, which means I don’t reach for the same product for every patient. 💕

These are some of my favorite splurges along with more affordable steals. Both are great options, just depending on your budget. And remember, expensive doesn’t automatically mean better. The ingredients and formulation matter much more than the price tag. ✨

One of my favorite parts of dermatology is helping patients understand why we choose certain ingredients and products rather than just adding another eye cream to the routine. 🤍

Save this for the next time you’re shopping for your under-eye routine! 💕✨

Botox is so much more than frown lines. 💉✨

Some of my favorite treatment areas are actually in the lower face and neck. Depending on your anatomy and goals, Botox may help relax jaw clenching, soften a bulky masseter muscle, lift downturned corners of the mouth, improve a gummy smile, create a subtle lip flip, smooth an “orange peel” chin, or create more definition through the jawline and neck with a Nefertiti lift. 💕

One of my favorite things about aesthetic dermatology is how much we can accomplish by looking at the face as a whole. Botox, fillers, collagen biostimulators like Sculptra® and Radiesse®, lasers, and medical-grade skincare all work differently to address the many ways our skin and facial structure change with time. ✨

Every face is different, which is why there is never a one-size-fits-all treatment plan. I love creating a personalized approach based on your anatomy, your concerns, and your goals so the end result still looks like you. 🤍

Natural. Refreshed. Still you. 💕

Biostimulators aren’t the same as filler—and that’s exactly why I love them. 💉💕

If you’ve noticed your face has lost volume over time, your jawline isn’t as defined, your neck has become more crepey, or your hands are starting to show signs of aging, you may be a candidate for a collagen biostimulator.

Unlike traditional fillers that only add volume, biostimulators encourage your body to help itself by building collagen and elastin. Over time, this can help improve skin quality, restore support, and create subtle but impactful, natural-looking rejuvenation.

Every body ages differently. Our skin ages in multiple layers, which is why it’s wonderful to have so many different tools in our toolbelt. I love them all—from fillers to biostimulators like Radiesse and Sculptra. Each one allows us to address aging on different levels and deliver the most natural-looking results for our patients.

It’s a bespoke process, not one size fits all. The best treatment starts with understanding your anatomy, your concerns, and your goals. ✨

🏝️ Tips from Hawaii: Big Island Edition

Did you know less than 1% of the world’s beaches are black sand beaches? 🌋

These incredible beaches are formed from volcanic lava, making them rich in volcanic minerals and giving them their beautiful black color.

Here’s the dermatology pearl: white sand reflects about 15–20% of the sun’s UV rays back toward your skin. Black sand, on the other hand, absorbs much more of that UV energy and reflects only a small percentage, meaning you receive less reflected UV exposure from below.

The trade-off? Black sand gets much hotter, so don’t forget your flip-flops! 🩴

No matter what beach you’re visiting, sunscreen, UPF clothing, a wide-brimmed hat, and sunglasses are still your best friends for protecting your skin.

Thank you for coming along with me on this beautiful Hawaiian journey. Stay tuned for the next adventure! 🌺

🌺 You can do hard things.

If you’ve followed me for a while, you know I’m much more of an indoor girl than an outdoor adventurer. 😄 But while I was in Hawaii, I decided to challenge myself by hiking Diamond Head.

Was it easy? Absolutely not. There were steep stairs, dark tunnels, lots of wind, and more than a few moments where I questioned my decision. But reaching the top reminded me of something we all need to hear from time to time…

We are capable of so much more than we give ourselves credit for.

Whether your goal is improving your health, taking better care of your skin, exercising more, or simply trying something new, don’t let fear convince you that you can’t do it.

At 56, I made it to the top. If I can do it, maybe you can too. 💕

Thank you for joining me on this beautiful Hawaiian adventure. More Tips from Hawaii are coming soon!

🌺 Tips from Hawaii: Big Island Edition

One of my favorite parts of this trip has been learning how many incredible healing properties are found in nature.

Today I discovered:
🌿 Kava, traditionally used for relaxation.
🍌 Green apple bananas, known for their natural laxative properties.
💙 Blue turmeric, which may benefit the skin.
🧡 Orange turmeric to help reduce inflammation in the joints.
🌺 Hibiscus flowers that bloom for just one beautiful day.
🌱 Even the allspice leaves smelled exactly like honey-baked ham!

It’s amazing how much we can learn from the plants around us. While nature offers incredible ingredients, it’s always important to understand how and when to use them safely and appropriately.

Thank you for coming along with me on this beautiful Hawaiian journey. Stay tuned for more Tips from Hawaii! 🌺🍍

Aloha from Hawaii! 🌺☔️

One question I get all the time is, “Do I need sunscreen if it’s raining?”

The answer is no—during a true rainstorm. The thick, dark rain clouds block much more of the sun’s UV rays than the thin cloud cover you see on a typical cloudy day. That’s why I skip sunscreen in a real Hawaiian downpour, but I still wear it on an ordinary cloudy day.

Watch until the end to see my handsome videographer, Hunter, get completely soaked in one of Hawaii’s surprise rain showers! 😂🌧️

I’m having so much fun sharing my favorite skincare pearls from paradise. Thanks for coming along with me on this beautiful journey, and stay tuned for more Tips from Hawaii! 🌺🍍

✨ One of the first places to show our age isn’t always our face… it’s our hands.

As we age, we naturally lose collagen, elastin, and volume. The skin becomes thinner, making veins, tendons, and wrinkles more noticeable.

One of my favorite treatment combinations for hand rejuvenation is Radiesse® combined with hyaluronic acid filler. I call it the dynamic duo. 💕

Radiesse helps stimulate your body’s own collagen production over time, while hyaluronic acid filler restores youthful volume and hydration for an immediate refresh. Together, they help create hands that look smoother, healthier, and more youthful while still looking completely natural.

The goal is never to make your hands look “done.” The goal is for them to match the youthful appearance of your face.

Have you ever looked at your hands and thought they looked older than you feel? Let me know below. 👇
