My daily work:
2 zirconia crowns that we cutback the facial surface of a full-contour zirconia crown, then hand-layer porcelain into that space to build natural depth and vitality — something monolithic zirconia can’t achieve on its own, since it tends to look flat under light.
Once fired, we refine the contour and add surface texture to match adjacent teeth, so light reflects naturally instead of looking artificially smooth.
Result: the strength and fit of zirconia, with the lifelike depth, color transition, and texture of a hand-layered crown — blending seamlessly with the patient’s natural dentition.
