Mrs. Betty D. ❤️
This week, we’re honored to shine the spotlight on the wonderful Mrs. Betty D.!
Mrs. Betty was born and raised right here in Plant City, Florida, in a two-story home just off Cherry Street. She was the youngest of the girls in her family, with a younger brother whom she loved being a big sister to.
For 28 years, Mrs. Betty dedicated her career to the school system, working in data processing. She especially enjoyed her time at Tomlin Middle School and Bloomingdale High School, where she built many wonderful memories.
When asked what she’s most proud of, her answer is simple, her family. ❤️ Mrs. Betty and her husband, CW, have shared an incredible 66 years of marriage. Their love story began in the 8th grade, and they knew from the very beginning they were meant to spend their lives together. Together they have been blessed with 2 children, 4 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
Around Grace Manor at Hunters Creek, you’ll often find Mrs. Betty tending to the gardens or adding a special touch to her beautifully decorated apartment. She also enjoys participating in activities at Dover Baptist Church, where she has been a faithful member for an amazing 69 years.
One of Mrs. Betty’s favorite places to dine is Harry’s Seafood & Grille in Lakeland, where she always looks forward to enjoying the delicious Grit Cake. Her favorite vacation was an unforgettable family trip to Hawaii, where she and CW, along with their children, cruised from island to island, making memories that will last a lifetime. 🌺🏝️
