When you live with chronic illness, energy can feel less like a steady resource and more like a surprise guest who refuses to tell you how long they’re staying. 😅
But beneath the humor, fluctuating symptoms can affect your mood, relationships, identity, work, and ability to make plans. It can also bring guilt for resting, grief for the life you expected, and frustration when others don’t understand what they cannot see.
Therapy may not remove the illness, but it can give you a place to process the emotional weight of living in a body that does not always cooperate, without being told to “just stay positive.”
You deserve support that recognizes both your resilience and how genuinely difficult this can be. 💗
If you’re navigating chronic illness and looking for a therapist who understands its emotional impact, you’re welcome to reach out.
