Low libido is one of the most common concerns I hear from patients — and one of the least talked about.

S*x drive is influenced by many factors, and a change in libido is often connected to what’s happening in the body and in life overall.

Hormone shifts, stress, relationship dynamics, postpartum changes, certain medications (including SSRIs), and pain with in*******se can all affect sexual desire.

For many women, it’s not just one cause — it’s a combination of physical, emotional, and lifestyle factors.

What’s important to understand is this:
Low libido is not “just in your head,” and it’s not something you simply have to accept as your new normal.

There are ways to evaluate what may be contributing and options that can help improve both comfort and desire.

S*xual health is part of overall health — and it deserves to be talked about.

If intimacy feels different, uncomfortable, or painful, it’s worth having the conversation. 🤍

Being voted Best OB/GYN Practice in Plantation for the fourth year in a row is truly an honor. 🤍

But what means the most to me is the trust our patients place in us every single day.

Women deserve healthcare where they feel heard, respected, and supported — whether they’re coming in for a routine exam, navigating pregnancy, managing hormonal changes, or addressing concerns that are often difficult to talk about.

Creating that kind of environment is always the goal.

Thank you to our patients and our community for allowing us to care for you and be part of your health journey.

Let’s talk honestly about fertility — because understanding it early can make a big difference.

Yes, fertility does decline with age, but that doesn’t mean getting pregnant in your 30s or even 40s is impossible. What changes over time?

• Egg quantity decreases – You’re born with a set number of eggs, and as you age, that number naturally goes down. Fewer eggs mean fewer chances for fertilization.
• Egg quality decreases – Older eggs are more likely to have chromosomal changes, which can affect implantation and increase the risk of miscarriage.
• Miscarriage risk increases gradually – This is mostly due to changes in egg quality, not your body “failing.” Understanding this helps you take proactive steps.

So what can help?

✔ Know your options early – Fertility preservation, testing, or assisted reproductive technologies may be available sooner than you think.
✔ Understand your cycle – Knowing when you ovulate can make timing more effective and less stressful.
✔ Discuss labs like AMH (when appropriate) – These tests can give a snapshot of your ovarian reserve, helping guide your next steps.
✔ See a specialist if needed – If you’ve been trying without success, a reproductive endocrinologist can help identify issues and recommend treatments tailored to you.

Timing matters too:
• If you’re under 35, consider evaluation after 12 months of trying.
• If you’re 35 or older, start the conversation after 6 months.

The goal isn’t panic — it’s knowledge. Understanding your fertility gives you power, clarity, and more options for building the family you want. 🤍

Your emotional well-being is just as important as your physical health. 🤍

But don’t just take my word for it — hear what my patients are saying. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

From first-time moms to routine annual visits, so many women share that they feel heard, respected, never rushed, and truly cared for in my office. That’s not by accident — that’s the standard.

Choosing your OB/GYN is personal. You deserve a physician who listens, remembers, and provides care tailored to you — physically and emotionally.

If you’re looking for compassionate, thorough, patient-centered care, I am currently accepting new patients.

If you’re in your late 30s or early 40s and suddenly feeling…

• Anxious for no reason
• Waking up at 3am
• Gaining weight around your midsection
• Short-tempered or overwhelmed
• Having irregular cycles

You’re not “crazy.” You may be in perimenopause.

Perimenopause can begin up to 10 years before menopause — and many women are never told what to expect.

Hormone shifts can affect:
✔ Mood
✔ Sleep
✔ Weight
✔ Libido
✔ Focus

You don’t have to just “push through it.”

There are real solutions — lifestyle support, hormone therapy (when appropriate), and individualized care plans.

If your body feels different, trust that feeling. Let’s talk about it. 💛
