There are no words that truly express how grateful our family is for the incredible outpouring of love and support we’ve received over the past few weeks.
To everyone who prayed for us, sent flowers, made a donation, shared a kind message, called, left a voicemail, attended the services, traveled to be with us, brought food, or simply kept us in your thoughts... thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Even though we haven’t had the opportunity to thank everyone personally, please know how deeply grateful we are. We continue to read and listen to your many heartfelt messages, and with each one, we are reminded that our family is surrounded by extraordinary people. Your love has brought us comfort and strength when we needed it most.
These past few weeks have been the most difficult of our lives. Yet, they also brought so many people together. In between the tears and sorrow were moments of laughter and joy as we reminisced, shared stories, and celebrated the life of Carlos.
A very special thank you to everyone who shared memories and testimonies about Carlos. Hearing your stories reminded us of the kind of man he was and the quiet impact he had on so many lives. Many of you shared how he stood by you during some of your own most difficult moments, offering a helping hand, a listening ear, encouragement, or simply his presence.
Those stories have been an unexpected gift. They have allowed us to see even more clearly just how many lives he touched, often without seeking recognition.
Carlos is already deeply missed, but his kindness, generosity, and compassion continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
