Your dry eyes probably aren’t from your screens. 👀

For most people, the real problem is the eyelids. Tiny oil glands along your lids get clogged with buildup and bacteria. Without that oil, your tears dry up way too fast. That’s why drops only help for an hour.

Our ClearLids program treats the root cause. We deep-clean the lids, calm the inflammation, and get those glands working again, so your eyes can actually stay comfortable.

Dry, gritty, burning by noon? Call the office and ask about ClearLids.

A regular eye exam tells you your prescription. That’s it. A contact lens fitting is a totally different appointment that checks whether your eye can actually wear a lens, and which kind is right for you.

Here’s what happens in a fitting that a regular exam doesn’t cover:

We check the health of your cornea, since that’s the part of your eye the lens actually sits on. We look at your eye under a microscope to see how it’s handling the lens. You get trial lenses to take home and wear in real life, not just in the chair. Then you come back so we can see how your eye did with them. And you walk away with a backup glasses prescription too.

So if you’ve ever wondered why your eye doctor treats these as two separate things, now you know. One tells us what you need to see. The other tells us if your eyes can actually handle wearing contacts

This is what some of my patients see every day 👀

In the exam chair, I’m focused on diagnosing and treating what’s happening inside the eye. But what really matters is how you actually see: reading a menu, driving at night, recognizing a familiar face. This is my take on what that looks like.
