Thursday Therapy Thoughts

Surgery can be appropriate for some conditions, but changing anatomy does not guarantee better pain or function. For some musculoskeletal problems, well-designed conservative care can produce comparable outcomes. A physical therapist can help guide you. Source: Randomized trial, BMJ (Moseley et al., 2002).

Here’s how we help you heal:
🤲 Manual therapy – to reduce stiffness and restore motion.
💆 Soft tissue & joint mobilization – to improve flexibility and ease discomfort.
🏋️ Therapeutic exercise & functional strength training – to rebuild stability and prevent re-injury.
🔊 Ultrasound therapy – to promote circulation and support tissue healing.
🧠 Functional re-education – to help you regain confidence in daily movement.
