This micro class offers a supportive, lighthearted space for new and expecting parents to navigate unsolicited advice—while strengthening confidence in their own choices and instincts.

We’ll explore common sources of advice (welcome and unwelcome), practice ways to respond with humor and clarity, and talk about how to stay grounded in what feels right for your family. We’ll also discuss how to recognize when you do want support and how to ask for help without guilt or overwhelm.

This is a low-pressure, discussion-based space where you’re welcome to listen, laugh, share, or step out as needed. Come as you are.

There is a $5 fee to sign up, which goes directly into our Community Fund to help support accessible programming and outreach for families in our region. You’re welcome to bring one support person at no additional cost.

We weren’t meant to do life alone. Somewhere along the way, we traded connection for convenience, and true community started to fade.
But it doesn’t have to stay that way.
The Mt. Diablo Birth Collective is helping bring community back, creating spaces where people are seen, supported, and held through some of life’s most transformative moments.
Because when we come together, we remember what it means to belong.
