Just 24 hours before this photo was taken, I was battling panic attacks, anxiety, self doubt, and the heavy fog of depression. My mind felt loud. My body felt tired. My spirit felt disconnected.

So I did what I always seem to come back to when life feels too heavy… I went into the trees. 🌲

There is something deeply healing about nature. The forest doesn’t ask us to be productive. It doesn’t judge our sadness or rush our healing. The trees simply stand tall beside us… grounding us, steadying our heartbeat, calming the nervous system, and reminding us to breathe again.

Science tells us nature lowers cortisol, slows the pulse, and regulates the body. But spiritually… I think the earth simply remembers us when we forget ourselves.

Today was a reminder to myself, that healing doesn’t always come from forcing ourselves to “push through.” Sometimes healing looks like sunlight through branches, bare feet on the earth, deep breaths between the trees, and allowing nature to hold what feels too heavy to carry alone.

If your mind has been loud lately… go outside. Sit by the trees. Listen to the wind. Let the earth help you come home to yourself again. 🤍
