Grief can feel especially difficult during the holiday season, but you don't have to navigate it alone. Hope Hospice, in partnership with our sister organization, Mission Hospice & Home Care, offers a variety of grief support groups, workshops, and community gatherings this fall.

🌿 Grief Support Groups

General Loss & Spouse/Partner Loss: Eight-week support groups offered quarterly. Contact Hope Hospice Bereavement Services at (925) 829-8770 inquire about upcoming groups in 2027.

End of Life Option Act (EOLOA) Grief Support: An eight-week virtual group for those grieving a loved one who chose medical aid in dying.

Tomorrow is World Hospice and Palliative Care Day, when we honor the people who make this work possible, and the families who have welcomed us into their homes.

Hope Hospice began in 1980 with a simple belief that the people in our community deserve compassionate, high-quality care. All these years later, that belief still guides every visit, every conversation, and every moment of care.

We’re thrilled to see Castlewood Plays for Hope making headlines in the Tri-Valley!

The recent 3-day fundraiser at The Club at Castlewood was covered in the Pleasanton Weekly and Pleasanton Patch, highlighting nearly 300 participants and more than $450,000 raised for Hope Hospice.

The coverage also shines a spotlight on Hope Hospice’s nonprofit mission and the care and support these funds make possible for local patients, families, and caregivers.
