Top 3 Summer Safety Tips for Kids

☀️ 1. Sun Safety
Protect your child’s skin by applying broad-spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen 15–30 minutes before going outside. Reapply every 2 hours—and after swimming or sweating. Seek shade during peak sun hours (10 a.m.–4 p.m.) whenever possible.

🪖 2. Helmet Up
Whether riding a bike, scooter, skateboard, or skates, a properly fitted helmet is one of the best ways to prevent serious head injuries. Make wearing a helmet a non-negotiable part of every ride.

📱 3. Balance Screen Time
Summer is a great time to unplug! Encourage outdoor play, reading, creative activities, and family time. Set healthy screen-time limits and remember the 20-20-20 rule: every 20 minutes, look 20 feet away for 20 seconds to help reduce eye strain.
