As summer winds down, life gets busy again. School starts, vacations end, fall activities fill the calendar… and the time families naturally spent together during the summer can suddenly become harder to find.

For older adults, especially those who live alone, that change can be more significant than we sometimes realize.
Staying connected doesn’t require elaborate plans. A quick phone call, a Sunday visit, a photo from a grandchild’s first day of school, a shared meal, or simply making sure Mom or Dad still feels included in the everyday rhythm of family life can mean a great deal.
