Sometimes Reiki finds us at exactly the right time.

If you’ve been feeling curious about Reiki, drawn toward energy healing, or simply feeling a quiet nudge that it may be time to explore something deeper, perhaps this is your invitation. ✨

I’m opening a small Reiki Level 1 training on Saturday, October 3rd, and I would love to share this beautiful experience with you.

This will be an intimate, small-group experience. I intentionally keep my Reiki trainings small so that each person receives individual attention, has plenty of opportunity to ask questions, and feels supported throughout the day.

We’ll spend the day learning about the foundations of Reiki, connecting with the energy, practicing with one another, and experiencing your Reiki Level 1 attunement.

We’ll explore:

• The history and foundations of Reiki
• The Reiki principles
• Understanding energy and how Reiki works
• Self-Reiki and daily practice
• Giving Reiki to others
• Hands-on practice
• Your Reiki Level 1 attunement
• How to begin incorporating Reiki into your everyday life

We’ll begin at 11:00 AM and finish around 4:00 PM, give or take a little depending on the size of our group and the natural flow of the day. I want to give us the space to learn, practice, ask questions, and simply be present without feeling rushed.

Reiki Level 1 is often the beginning of a beautiful relationship with yourself and your own healing. You don’t need to have any previous experience with energy work. Just come with an open heart and a willingness to explore.

I have one opening in my Summer Tuesday Reiki Circle at my New City studio. The series begins tonight, but with the Summer Flex Pass, you can attend any 5 of the 7 sessions, making it easy to work around vacations and summer plans.

Each one-hour session includes guided meditation along with individual and group Reiki to promote deep relaxation, restore balance, and help you leave feeling refreshed and renewed.

HOW JULY CAN BE YOUR BEST MONTH

1. Start each morning with intention.
Before checking your phone, spend a few quiet minutes setting your priorities. How you begin your day often shapes how you live it.

2. Take better care of your health.
Eat nourishing food, move your body daily, sleep well, and drink enough water. A healthy body supports a peaceful mind.

3. Let go of one thing that's been weighing you down.
Whether it's resentment, guilt, fear, or an unhealthy habit, make this the month you stop carrying what no longer serves you.

4. Focus on progress, not perfection.
Small, consistent actions will take you further than waiting for the perfect time to begin.

5. Spend more time with the people who matter.
Call your parents. Meet a friend. Hug your loved ones. Strong relationships are one of life's greatest sources of happiness.

6. Protect your peace.
Reduce unnecessary drama, limit negative media, and distance yourself from people who constantly drain your energy.

7. Learn something new.
Read a book, build a skill, or explore a new interest. A growing mind creates a growing life.

8. Manage your money wisely.
Save a little more, spend a little less, and invest in things that improve your future instead of chasing temporary satisfaction.

9. Be fully present.
Put your phone down more often. Notice sunsets, conversations, laughter, and the little moments that make life meaningful.

10. Practice gratitude every day.
Instead of focusing on what's missing, notice what's already beautiful in your life. Gratitude changes the way you experience each day.

11. Forgive yourself and begin again.
Don't let the mistakes of the first half of the year decide the rest of it. Every new month is a chance to make a new choice.

12. End each day with reflection.
Ask yourself: "Did I become a little wiser, kinder, healthier, or more peaceful today?" If the answer is yes, you're moving in the right direction.

July doesn't have to be the month when everything changes overnight.

It can simply be the month you make better choices...

One habit at a time.
One conversation at a time.
One day at a time.

Because a better life is rarely built by one big decision.

It's built by small decisions repeated every single day.

Make July count.

We spend decades carrying invisible loads, filling our hearts with the anxieties, opinions, and unhealed reactions of everyone we love. Society often praises this relentless people-pleasing as loyalty, tricking us into believing that managing other people's chaos is our ultimate duty. But this is a crushing, unnatural weight that slowly extinguishes our own light and leaves us completely depleted.

The Buddha’s teachings in the Bhāra Sutta directly address this exact suffering, speaking to the profound spiritual liberation of finally laying down the heavy burden. The most exhausting weights we carry are rarely physical; they are the deep attachments (Upādāna) we form when we try to control the uncontrollable. Attempting to manage the inner landscape and life choices of another human being is an impossible task that only drains your vital energy. Letting go of their narrative is never an act of abandonment; it is a fiercely respectful acknowledgment that they must walk their own journey.

True spiritual courage lies in recognizing exactly what actually belongs to you. Channel your precious energy into Samma-Vayama (Right Effort)—the active, daily practice of nurturing your own integrity, fiercely enforcing your boundaries, and walking your path with unwavering dignity. You are entirely allowed to let others carry their own emotional weather. Put down the heavy expectations that were never yours to hold, and step into the profound, quiet relief of simply being true to yourself.

Have you ever noticed how the people you spend time with shape your thoughts, your mood, and your overall sense of peace? When someone is constantly battling inner conflict, their chaos can quietly spill over into your own space.

Here’s a gentle reminder for today: Protecting your peace isn't selfish. It is responsible. Your happiness is not a luxury, and your mental health is absolutely non-negotiable. 🛑

Remember that you can deeply care for others without absorbing their turmoil. Give yourself permission to set firm boundaries, choose calm environments, and prioritize your rest and clarity. 🌿

Ultimately, the quality of your life depends entirely on the energy you allow to stay. Choose wisely. 💛
