Thank God for our wonderful members and voluntees who help when needed at Post 980.

Without being ask, Jennie Bell asked If she could w**d & mulch the Memorial area in preporation for the 9/11 ceremony.

Thank you so much Jennie! (she will hate that I wrote this).

Of course I couldn't help, but ask if I could help her in this task, what a fun time we had together in this special task.

After we were done, we went inside, cooled off, had a refreshment or two and told fishing stories.🦈

The American Legion Post 980 had the veterans from Southwestern Vetetans Center for an afternoon of a homemade lunch and BINGO.

The veterans had a great day of fun & food. This event was held by Post 980 with the help of the ALA & the SAL.
