We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Food Service Director (Full-Time) to support the Director of Food Services in overseeing daily dietary operations within a healthcare setting.
This role plays a key part in ensuring high-quality nutritional services while maintaining full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The ideal candidate will help lead a strong dietary team and ensure a safe, clean, and efficient food service environment for residents.
🍽️ Key Responsibilities Include:
• Assisting in planning, organizing, and directing dietary department operations
• Ensuring compliance with dietary regulations and quality standards
• Supervising and supporting dietary staff performance and scheduling
• Coordinating with Nursing, Housekeeping, and Infection Prevention teams
• Maintaining diet records, meal quality, and therapeutic diet plans
• Supporting quality assurance and infection control initiatives
👥 Qualifications:
• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in a healthcare or medical facility
• Knowledge of food service management, cost control, and diet therapy preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
