The Mobile Free Pharmacy provides FREE over-the-counter (OTC) products to individuals and families across North Carolina. These events offer essential medications - such as pain and allergy relievers, cold and cough medicine, digestive aids, vitamins, children's medications, and more - at no cost to participants.

Mobile Free Pharmacy events are open to all North Carolina residents who are at least 18 years old. There are no other eligibility requirements.

Walk-ins are welcome! Registration is not required. To support a faster and more convenient experience, individuals may pre-order items online in advance and pick them up at the event. Participants may pick up orders for others who are not able to attend.

We are just two weeks away from the Light the Way Mental Health Awareness Walk & Community Fair on September 12th, and we are SO excited! 🌟

Join us at 8:30 AM at the old Plymouth High School as we kick off the day with an awareness walk to help start the conversation about mental health, su***de prevention, and the 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline. 💜 More information in the attached graphic!

LIGHT THE WAY: Community Mental Health Awareness Event

We’re excited to announce that MTWDH Open Armz Re-Entry Program and our Partnerships for Success programs are teaming up to bring 988 su***de & crisis lifeline awareness, mental health education, and community resources to Plymouth!

Mental Health Awareness Walk

Following the walk, join us downtown Plymouth from 10 AM–3 PM for a community resource fair with local organizations, resources, and opportunities to connect.

Samaritan’s Feet will also be giving away 125 pairs of shoes to community members in need.

If you are interested in receiving a pair of shoes, or know someone in need, please complete the shoe request form (located in the comments) and return it to Demetria Jackson at [email protected] or to the front desk of the Health Department.
