This September, our Saint Joseph Health System Mobile Medical Unit is bringing safe, convenient mammograms directly to neighborhoods across our community.

Our mobile unit removes barriers to care by offering mammography services at multiple locations throughout the month, making it easier for women to prioritize their breast health.

In honor of National Dog Day, we want to recognize our therapy dogs, Rain, Kit, Harvey and Ruby, who bring comfort, joy and tail wags to our patients and staff every week.

Many of our therapy pups also volunteer at schools and other organizations, spreading love across the community. They’re true ambassadors of kindness!

Ruby, our Golden Retriever volunteer, makes sure to fit patient care in between being an award-winning competitor! Ruby shines in dock diving, agility, scent work and rally obedience. She’s even competed in the National Championship Dock Diving event.

Sydney is known throughout the Emergency Department for her positivity, compassion and unwavering support of both patients and colleagues. In an environment that can be fast-paced, unpredictable and emotionally challenging, she brings a spirit of warmth and encouragement that helps brighten even the most difficult days.

Completing his residency with Saint Joseph and a graduate of the Notre Dame Sports Medicine Fellowship, Dr. Williamson specializes in Sports Medicine and is dedicated to helping athletes and active individuals return to the activities they love.

His expertise includes ultrasound-guided procedures, regenerative medicine and osteopathic manipulative medicine. Dr. Williamson also brings experience caring for athletes at the high school, collegiate and professional levels.
