There’s just something special about grandparents. They have a way of making you feel loved, listening to your stories, spoiling you just a little, and sharing wisdom that only comes with years of life.

Today, we celebrate all the grandparents who have made a difference in the lives of their children and grandchildren. And for those whose grandparents are no longer with us, we carry their love, memories, and lessons with us every day.

At Miller’s, we are blessed to have so many wonderful grandparents who have countless memories, valuable lessons, funny stories, and a lifetime of experiences that have shaped who they are.

So today, give your grandparents a call, stop in for a visit, or simply take some time to listen to their stories. Those are the moments we end up holding onto and cherishing the most.

When something needs fixing, a repair needs attention, or a little project needs to be done, our maintenance team is right here at Miller’s to help take care of it for our residents.

Having a team member available to handle repairs and keep our building and apartments in good working order is just another way we help make life at Miller’s a little easier.

September 11, 2001, is a day we will never forget. Today, 25 years later, we remember the lives that were taken, the families who were forever changed, and the heroes who ran toward danger while others were running away.

We remember the firefighters, police officers, first responders, and everyday people who showed incredible courage and compassion that day.

Twenty-five years have passed, but the memories remain. May we continue to honor those we lost, remember those who served, and never forget the strength, courage, and kindness that brought our country together.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

Let’s talk laundry!

Laundry is just one more thing we can take off your plate at Miller’s. Residents have access to free washers and dryers right here in the building, and we even provide the laundry soap!

Sheets and towels are included with your rent, and our housekeeping staff cleans each apartment weekly.

It’s all about making life a little easier. We take care of the laundry, clean the apartment, and even prepare the meals and clean up afterward, so residents can spend more time doing the things they enjoy.

One less chore to worry about means more time to enjoy life!

Meet Jeff Bourff!

We are excited to welcome Jeff to Miller’s Plymouth as our new Maintenance Supervisor!

Jeff comes to us from our Warsaw building and has been with Miller’s for 7 months. He started his career in long-term care as a CNA, but he always enjoyed working on projects and fixing things, which eventually led him to a career in maintenance.

When asked what he loves most about Miller’s, Jeff said it best: “It feels like family!”

When Jeff isn’t busy keeping things running smoothly, you can find him working on cars or enjoying one of his favorite hobbies, bike riding!

**Meet Our Housekeeping Team!**

Today, we're excited to introduce Nicole Ross and Stacy White!

Nicole has been with Miller's for 6 years and says she just loves the residents! Her favorite memory is when she accidentally started a book club! When asked what got her into housekeeping, Nicole said she loves the hours. A fun fact about Nicole is that she loves being a Mom and, of course, she loves to read!

Stacy has been with Miller's for 1 year and says everyone is so kind and caring, "like one big happy family!" Her favorite memory involves taking the trash out when the wheels got stuck and she and the trash can took a tumble. Thankfully, she wasn't hurt, but she said her pride definitely took a hit!

Stacy loves housekeeping because she enjoys interacting with the residents and helping keep their homes clean and comfortable. A fun fact about Stacy is that she has 4 children and 5 grandchildren, who she loves spending time with.

Thank you, Nicole and Stacy, for all you do to keep Miller's looking great and for the care you show our residents every day! We appreciate you both!

Lois has been part of the Miller’s family for over a year, and we are so happy she chose to call Miller’s home.

Lois loves the freedom she has here and appreciates being able to do the things she enjoys. She also shared how much she enjoys the food and how helpful and friendly our staff are.

Today, we want to take a moment to thank all of our wonderful residents for being such an important part of the Miller’s family. We are so thankful for each and every one of you!

Whether we’re blowing bubbles, talking with the kids, enjoying a family picnic, cheering on the South Bend Cubs, snapping beans, playing games, or just being silly together, there’s always something fun happening when we’re together.

Thank you for filling our days with laughter, stories, friendship, and so many special memories. We’re lucky to have you!

We were so pleased to welcome Dr. Tod Stillson to Miller’s! He spent time with residents and families, sharing information about his new program, ChatRX, and how it can help make healthcare information and communication easier and more accessible.

It was a wonderful opportunity to learn more, ask questions, and see how technology like ChatRX may benefit our residents and their families.

A huge THANK YOU to all of our participants, sponsors, and staff who helped make our Walk-a-Thon such a success!

Even with the threat of rain, so many people came out to walk, support a great cause, and spend time visiting with our wonderful sponsors.
