The Jordan Hospital Club

The Jordan Hospital Club The Jordan Hospital Club is a volunteer fundraising organization supporting our home town hospital

The Jordan Hospital Club began in 1906 as a group of eight women who helped the hospital by wrapping bandages, sterilizing instruments and performing duties to aid the nursing staff. Now, 100 years later, the Club has hundreds of members, an active Board of Directors and many volunteers who raise hundreds of thousands of dollars each year and donate thousands of hours of service. The Jordan Hospit

al Club is excited to continue its mission of support and advocacy for excellence in our community's health care. The Jordan Hospital Club raises funds a variety of ways to support Beth Israel Deaconess-Plymouth and in turn, these funds support a myriad of departments and initiatives within the hospital. The Club's Signature Events include the Polar Plunge, The Duxbury Lawn Party, and for 7 years, Kayla's Beat Goes On 5K. Other sources of funds include the Annual Appeal, The Jordan Hospital Club Gift Shop and the Endowment Fund. Through the hard work and dedication of volunteers and the generosity of our sponsors and donors, the Club is able to provide nursing scholarships, ER Teddy Bears, free Hibiclense to outpatient surgery candidates, and major capital contributions to various departments each year. The Polar Plunge alone has raised over $1 million for the Jordan Hospital Club Cancer Center. The Club has also made significant monetary contributions to the Cardiovascular Center, the BirthPlace, the Cardio Rehabilitation Center, the Breast Center and more. The Jordan Hospital Club looks forward to being a major supporter of new hospital initiatives, including the Family Behavioral Health Initiative. Official beverage of the 2026 “Virtual Lawn Party”:
Anything cold and served outside.
Whether it’s rosé, lemonade, a spicy margarita, or your favorite mocktail, we hope you’ll raise a glass with us this summer in support of the new ER project at BID Plymouth.
The Lawn Party tradition may be taking a breather this year, but the heart behind it remains the same: community, connection, and caring for one another.
Cheers to summer evenings, good friends, and an even better comeback in 2027.

This year’s Lawn Party dress code:
✔ Barefoot optional
✔ Cocktail in hand encouraged
✔ Lawn chair strongly recommended
Since we’re taking a short intermission this summer, we invite you to host your own “Lawn Party at Home.” Gather neighbors, friends, or family for a casual summer evening and toast to community, friendship, and the future of healthcare in Plymouth.
We may be skipping the big tent this year… but we’re still raising support for the new ER project at BID Plymouth.
Snap a photo of your backyard setup and tag us — we’d love to see your version of Lawn Party season.

The Lawn Party isn’t canceled… it’s just enjoying a summer cocktail break. 🍹🌿
After many wonderful years, the Duxbury Lawn Party will be taking a one-year pause for 2026 - but don’t worry… we’ll be back in 2027, ready to celebrate bigger and better than ever.
While the tent, music, and socializing may be on hold this June, our mission is not.
This year, we’re still rallying our community to support the new Emergency Room project at BID Plymouth because caring for our neighbors never takes a season off.
So pour a drink, gather your friends on the lawn, and stay connected for a few fun virtual Lawn Party moments.
