Dr. McMinn has been straightening smiles in this valley long enough to have done it every way there is.

For most of his career, brackets went on by eye. Skilled eye, steady hand, thousands of cases. That was the standard, and he was good at it.

He’s also the first to tell you the standard changed.

When the evidence showed that 3D printed, custom placed brackets meant fewer months and fewer appointments for patients, he brought it in. Not because it was new. Because it was better for the people in his chair.

The “what am I supposed to eat now?” phase after new braces is real. 😞💔

Sore mouth, brand new brackets, and every crunchy favorite is suddenly off the table. So here are three meals that skip the applesauce routine and still feel like actual food.
