We are a not-for-profit healthcare system that provides community-oriented healthcare for Mason and Jackson counties in West Virginia and the counties of Gallia and Meigs in Ohio. This 101-bed facility offers a full spectrum of services and includes a 101-bed acute care facility, wellness center (open to the public), and more. General services are provided to the community including radiology, emergency medicine, inpatient and outpatient surgery, neurology, sleep studies, ophthalmology, orthopedics, oncology/hematology, otolaryngology, women's health and a full-range of therapy and rehabilitation services. Radiology services include CT, Vantage Orian MRI with Theater and Pianissimo noise reducing technology, ultrasound, nuclear medicine and 3-D digital mammography. We are extending care well beyond the doors of the hospital, offering alternative care options, emergency treatment of major and minor injuries and illness and preventive care and fitness programs. Pleasant Valley Hospital is truly a resource center for our community's healthcare needs.

Feature Friday: Meet Kasidy McCombs! 💚

This week, we're excited to feature Kasidy McCombs, a family medicine nurse practitioner (APRN, FNP-C) at Marshall Health Network - Rivers Health.

Kasidy has been part of the Rivers Health team for nearly two years, providing care to family medicine and pediatric patients at her clinic in Gallipolis, Ohio.

In her role, Kasidy enjoys helping patients of all ages prioritize their health and well-being.

Outside of work, Kasidy loves spending time with her family, making memories with her two children and traveling. She also has a passion for skincare, aesthetics and learning new things, especially finding ways to help others feel confident and become the best versions of themselves!

This , we're highlighting the comprehensive breast services available at the Comprehensive Breast Health Center at Marshall Health Network - Rivers Health.

From prevention and early detection to treatment, our specialized breast health team is here to provide compassionate care and help patients get answers about their breast health in one convenient location.

Services include 3D digital mammography, breast exams, ultrasound, stereotactic biopsy, sentinel node biopsy, breast-conserving surgery, targeted treatments and access to clinical trials.

Patients can also benefit from the support of a dedicated nurse navigator throughout their breast health journey.

Knowing what resources are available and staying up to date with recommended screenings are important steps in taking charge of your breast health. 🩷

Marshall Health Network - Rivers Health was proud to partner with the Mason County Area Chamber of Commerce for the second annual Pickleball Tournament at the Point Pleasant Pickleball Courts. 🏓💚

From exciting matches to friendly competition, the tournament brought players together for a day of fun and connection.

Rivers Health was pleased to return as a co-sponsor for the second year and provide this year's tournament T-shirts.

Thank you to the Mason County Chamber of Commerce, participants and everyone who helped make this event a success!

What a spooktacular night at Marshall Health Network - Rivers Health! 🎃👻🍬

Our Community Trunk or Treat was filled with creative costumes, sweet treats and plenty of Halloween fun.

We loved seeing so many families come out to celebrate with us and make some frightfully fun memories. 💚
