If pain is your only scoreboard, you’ll constantly feel like you’re taking two steps forward and one step back.
But healing isn’t linear.
Progress might look like:
✨ Sleeping through the night again
✨ Being able to reach overhead with less restriction
✨ Squatting deeper than you could a month ago
✨ Returning to movements you previously avoided
✨ Lifting heavier weights or tolerating more training volume
✨ Having flare-ups that are less intense or don’t last as long
✨ Feeling more confident in your body
The goal isn’t simply to “make pain disappear.”
The goal is to build a body that is resilient, adaptable, and capable of doing the things you love.
Sometimes pain improves first.
Sometimes strength improves first.
Sometimes confidence improves first.
All of those count as progress. ❤️
Remember: healing isn’t always measured by how you feel today—it’s measured by what you’re able to do over time.
Not sure where to start? Let’s get started together.
