Breathe Yoga

Breathe Yoga Breathe Yoga is a community space for movement, mindfulness and meaningful connection. We offer a wide variety of classes for every level student.

Come as you are and discover the power of presence, practice and shared experience. I am passionate about exposing students to the sacred physical and philosophical practice of yoga. I consider it my true honor to work with beginning students. If you always thought about trying yoga--I'd love to practice with you. I believe that yoga is for everyBODY! We never force ourselves into any positions an

d always provide multiple alternatives for different levels. We spend time learning how physical postures feel in our bodies, using our breath as a guide. Looking forward to flowing with you!! Class descriptions below! Restorative yoga is a restful practice where we hold poses passively for longer periods of time. We use props to relax the muscles and restore the body. One pose may be held from 5-20 minutes. We welcome in stillness to tap into our parasympathetic nervous system where we rest and digest. You can expect a mellow, low energy flow that encourages you inward. This flow is accessible for all. Yin Yoga is a quiet, contemplative practice. We target the connective tissues, ligaments and deep fascia by holding poses in an active stretch for long periods of time. Each class may include 5-7 positions, held for 5-8 minutes. Vinyasa yoga is an energetic, athletic flow class that strings together various yoga poses. We aim to attach breath to movement and place each posture with intention.

What if healing begins not by doing more, but by feeling safe enough to do less?
Today’s Vagus Nerve Reset combined myofascial release, breathwork, restorative yoga, and meditation to support the vagus nerve—the primary communication pathway between the brain and the body. As we slowed our breath, softened tension, and settled into stillness, we invited the nervous system to shift from survival into rest, repair, and healing.
The body is always listening. Today, we gave it a reason to exhale.
Thank you to everyone who shared in this practice today.

Our bodies are constantly receiving messages from our environment, our thoughts, and our experiences. When stress becomes chronic, our nervous system can get stuck in patterns of tension and vigilance.
The vagus nerve—one of the body’s major communication pathways between the brain and organs—plays an important role in supporting the parasympathetic nervous system, the part of us connected to rest, digestion and healing.
Join Meaghan for a 90-minute journey exploring evidence-informed practices that support nervous system regulation through:
-Gentle, mindful movement. -Diaphragmatic breathing
-Humming and vocal toning to create soothing vibration
-Mindfulness and body awareness
-Deep relaxation practices to support rest and renewal
This is an invitation to reconnect with the wisdom of your own body.
In a world that often asks us to move faster, produce more, and stay constantly connected, this workshop offers a sacred pause—a space to soften, to listen and to remember that peace is not something we have to find outside ourselves.
Through breath, movement, sound, and stillness, we create moments of safety where the nervous system can settle and the spirit can return home. No yoga experience necessary. All are welcome.

Winning Best of Lake County is an incredible honor, and we’re deeply grateful to everyone who voted, practiced with us, and supported our studio.
The beautiful irony? Yoga has never been about being the “best.”
Yoga teaches us that the practice isn’t about comparison or competition. It’s about showing up, meeting ourselves where we are, and growing with compassion, consistency, and community.
We’re humbled that our community sees value in what we strive to create every day—a welcoming space where every person belongs, exactly as they are. Join us.

Last night we gathered to honor the longest day of the year with an evening full of movement, reflection, and connection. 🌞🔥
We flowed through a fiery yoga practice, challenged ourselves with breathwork, took time to journal and set intentions, and shared meaningful moments in community. There’s something powerful about coming together to celebrate the changing seasons, reconnect with ourselves, and soak in the energy of collective growth.
Thank you to Aimee for gracefully leading this wonderful event. And thanks to everyone who showed up with open hearts and positive energy. We left feeling grounded, inspired, and connected.
