We're excited to share that our hospital has been awarded $707,767 this year through Washington's Rural Health Transformation (RHT) Program. This funding will help expand the work we're able to accomplish as part of our hospital renovation project.
The RHT Program supports rural hospitals across the state by investing in projects that strengthen access to quality healthcare, improve patient care, and help ensure rural hospitals remain sustainable for years to come.
As construction costs continue to rise and we navigate the challenges of renovating an older facility, the budget for Phase One of our projects has grown to more than $9 million. Thanks to the combination of the $7 million bond approved by our community, RHT funding, grant dollars, and the hospital's own investments, we're able to continue making these important improvements.
