I love that I can use the waiting room as an oversized therapy room. We enjoyed having the cats snuggle with us and roam while doing art therapy on the carpet this morning.

The walk and talk sessions have taken off this week!

Pictures here were taken from a walk and talk session this evening.

Tinsley and I have received requests for walk and talks already for next week and we’re happy to provide this opportunity to our clients!

We also had traditional sit down sessions and a creative arts therapy session this evening.

We love the variety!

First session of the day consisted of a 3 mile walk and talk!

The best part, there was still time for animal assisted therapy belly rubs! 🤭🤩

We got 3 miles in during our session!

Mental and physical health for the win!

Mind and body are so interconnected and walking while talking has so many therapeutic benefits!

Tinsley and I love doing walk and talks!

Can you believe just a few years back Tinsley and I averaged between 6-8 miles in walk and talks per day!

Then we kind of got out of the walk and talk routine due to various reasons (weather, surgeries lol, getting too comfortable with being sedentary lol) 🤭

Although recently Tinsley and I have increased the number of walk and talk sessions we provide! We are excited about this and invite anyone who wants to try out a walk and talk to let us know!

Simply text us the day of your session regarding your preference and Tinsley and I will come prepared with our sneakers and leash!

Walk and talks average between 1-3 miles depending on our pace and clients preference and we take the scenic routes surrounding Healing Acres!

Can’t wait to see you all this week!
