Adventure, discovery, and a whole lot of fun. ☀️🏕️

Camp Casa brought a week of excitement to our Transitional Living Center (TLC), giving 75 residential and day treatment clients the opportunity to explore, create, compete, and connect. From sports and science to art and hands-on activities, campers participated in 35 unique experiences designed to spark curiosity and encourage new adventures.

The week ended with an unforgettable all-camp competition, where teamwork, encouragement, and friendly rivalry took center stage. Watching our campers challenge themselves, support one another, and celebrate their accomplishments was the perfect way to close out an incredible week!

As part of our Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Residency Program, these talented physicians will train across a comprehensive continuum of care, working alongside experienced faculty and interdisciplinary teams while helping patients recover, regain function, and achieve their highest level of independence. From inpatient rehabilitation to outpatient specialty care, they’ll gain invaluable experience caring for individuals with stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, orthopedic conditions, and more.

Use your experience to help shape the future of mobility scooter safety and accessibility. Casa Colina Research Institute is currently seeking participants for a Mobility Scooter Safety Study designed to improve the usability and safety of motorized mobility scooters.

Participants will complete a series of mobility scooter driving tasks around the Casa Colina campus to help researchers gather valuable data that may improve safety, accessibility, and overall user experience. Participants will receive a $50 gift card as a thank you for their time.
