Ten JKV resident veterans were honored at JKV yesterday with a Quilt of Valor. Quilts of Valor are handmade quilts ceremoniously awarded to service members and veterans touched by war. The Quilts of Valor Federation recognizes men and women of the military who have stepped forward, sacrificed their own personal freedom, safety and time with loved ones to ensure our way of life is protected. We are honored to have these heroes in our midst. ❤️💙

🪇 We were shaking our maracas at Sample McDougald House's "Sabores and Sounds of Brazil" cultural luncheon! Residents enjoyed live Brazilian music and dance and a delicious lunch that celebrated Brazil's rich culture. Nos divertimos muito! 💃

JKV honored our resident veterans with a meaningful Memorial Day service that recognized our heroes. Thank you to Jesus Mato for his moving performance on trumpet, and thank you to our resident veterans, and veterans everywhere for your service and sacrifice. ❤️💙

🏊 May is water safety month, and the JKV Rotary wanted to do its part by teaching water safety to the children in our community.
