Journey Home Recovery is celebrating milestones alongside the incredible residents who have made the house their home. As a small nonprofit, we're dedicated to empowering women to reclaim their lives and build a foundation for happiness and health. Our home is currently full, with our newest member joining her tribe this week. It was sweet to watch the residents welcome her with open arms. Community living can be challenging, but what has transpired here is remarkable. These women have cultivated a safe, supportive environment where they uplift each other and navigate life's challenges side by side, while remaining committed to their goals. In the past, we experienced high turnover, but everything shifted when we took over the sober living home in September 2025. Perhaps we all gained a greater appreciation after the threat of closing? Who knows. It's as if synchronicity brought these ladies together for a greater purpose. We didn’t set out to start this nonprofit, we had to act quickly and are still trying to figure it out, but one thing is certain, we have an amazing group of strong and resilient women in the house which has made this much easier. They balance full-time jobs, work their programs, and manage their home with grace, creating a connection that truly resembles a family. We look forward to seeing what the future holds for each of these beautiful women. If you are interested in supporting a great cause, please consider donating to Journey Home.
