More than 140 guests enjoyed a beautiful evening at the Chilton Medical Center Foundation’s annual Wine, Dine & Denim event, held at Preakness Hills Country Club. The night featured gourmet cuisine, fine wines, premium spirits, craft beers, live music, and a silent auction. All proceeds from the event will support the foundation’s current fundraising campaign to create a Patient and Family Caregivers Center at Atlantic Health Chilton Medical Center.

When Professor Michael Figueroa needed open-heart surgery, the professionals helping him recover weren’t strangers.

They were William Paterson University Alumni from the program he teaches in.

At both Valley Health System and Atlantic Health Chilton Medical Center, William Paterson exercise physiology alumni were there, guiding his rehabilitation, helping him take his first post-surgery steps, and supporting his recovery.

It was a powerful full-circle moment that shows the real impact of a William Paterson education. 🧡 “If you go within a 20- or 30-mile radius of our campus for allied healthcare, one of our alumni is working at or running those facilities,” Figueroa says.
