🍼💙 We’re on Baby Watch! 💙🍼

The whole First Coast Audiology team is anxiously awaiting the arrival of Baby Henri! We can't wait to meet Dr. LaForge's sweet little bundle! 👶🏼

And since we’re an audiology office we love knowing that one of his very first milestones was… hearing! 👂💕

Did you know that babies can start hearing sounds in the womb around 18 weeks of pregnancy, and by about 27–29 weeks, they can hear more outside sounds, including familiar voices? By the time they’re born, babies have a well-developed sense of hearing and may already recognize sounds they heard frequently during pregnancy—especially Mom’s voice. 🥰

Big News! We're growing our First Coast Audiology family! 💙👶

We had the sweetest time celebrating Dr. La Forge and baby Henri at her baby shower this past weekend! It was a wonderful day filled with fun. And of course we LOVED seeing all those itty bitty baby clothes and heartfelt gifts.

We can't wait to welcome our newest little honorary team member and meet baby Henri soon! 💕 Congratulations, Paxton & Jacques—we're so excited for you and your growing family!💙🏒

What a fantastic afternoon with our amazing audiology team! 🎉⛳

We traded the clinic for Topgolf and spent some time enjoying great food, friendly competition, lots of laughs, and meaningful team building. From delicious bites to donut holes with injectable chocolate (yes, they were as amazing as they sound! 🍩🍫), it was the perfect way to celebrate our incredible team.

We also recognized one another with fun awards and took time to say a heartfelt goodbye to Sarah as she begins an exciting new chapter in law school. We are so grateful for everything she has brought to our team and wish her nothing but success in this next adventure! ⚖️💙

We believe the best teams are built by celebrating each other, making memories, and staying connected—both in and out of the office. Days like these remind us how lucky we are to work alongside such an incredible group of people.

🇺🇸How are you celebrating Independence Day this weekend as we honor America's 250th anniversary!? 🇺🇸 You could head to downtown Jacksonville for one of the First Coast's biggest Fourth of July celebrations.

They are offering live entertainment, family-friendly activities, and an incredible fireworks show over the St. Johns River beginning at 9:00 PM.

🎆 Remember: Fireworks are beautiful—but they're loud! Protect your hearing by wearing earplugs or noise-reducing earmuffs, especially for children. A few simple precautions can help everyone enjoy the celebration safely.

We are looking forward to the largest 4th of July fireworks show in Jax History this Saturday, here are a few things to know before you go:

Riverfront Plaza celebrations start at 4PM. Fireworks launch at 9PM from multiple areas along the river. There are multiple events going on downtown, we do encourage everyone to arrive early to beat the traffic.

Bridge Closures:
- Acosta Bridge:
All northbound lanes and sidewalk will be closed from 8:45PM – 9:45PM.

- Main Street Bridge:
Northbound and southbound center lanes to remain open, outside lanes and sidewalks will be closed: 2:00PM-8:30PM. All bridge lanes closed beginning at 8:30PM, full bridge closure until post-show clearance at approximately 10:15PM.
