Wisdom flows both ways.

Every Saturday at 10:30am, our IGM Academy brings members together with students from Ponte Vedra High School for an hour of intergenerational mentorship in the Sawgrass Classroom. Stories are shared, perspectives are traded, and friendships form across generations.

It is one of the most rewarding hours of our week. All are welcome.

Thrive at Vicar's Landing is proud to announce a new partnership with Ponte Vedra High School through the launch of IGM Academy, our Intergenerational Mentorship Academy. The idea is simple and powerful. Our Members carry a lifetime of wisdom. Our students bring energy, skill, and fresh perspective. Together they create a classroom unlike any other. The first session, "Leadership Lessons from a Life Well Lived," explores what real leadership looks like beyond titles or applause, from responsibility and humility to courage, trust, and learning from our mistakes.

Join Eddy Whisler, Planetarium Director at the Museum of Science and History, for "You Are Here... but where is that on a map of the Cosmos?" This Museum LIVE! presentation explores what humanity has discovered about our place among the stars, and how that perspective shapes the way we see ourselves. As part of our Thrive: Living Well in Retirement initiative, Edward Jones Financial Advisor Jennifer Pasterczyk leads "Financial Wellness: Fraud Prevention, Identity Theft, Scams and Cybersecurity." Rather than a traditional investment seminar, this session is practical, educational, and discussion-based, helping Members make thoughtful decisions with clarity and confidence.

ElderSource, the Area Agency on Aging of Northeast Florida, joins us for an educational presentation on the programs and services available to older adults, caregivers, and adults with disabilities. Learn about caregiver burnout prevention, free and unbiased Medicare counseling, and a Help Line built to support independence and dignity.
