Dr. Gates Eye Care Dr. McKenzie Gates is a Mississippi native, originally from Corinth.

She earned her undergraduate degree from Mississippi State University before graduating with her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry. Driven by a lifelong dream of business ownership, she chose Pontotoc for its welcoming, small-town atmosphere. Dr. Gates is committed to providing comprehensive eye care to her patients at her new practice located inside the Pontotoc Walmart.

👀 We are seeking a highly skilled receptionist to join our optometry practice located at 100 McCord Rd Pontotoc, MS 38863 (at the Pontotoc, MS Walmart). Job responsibilities include: greeting patients, scheduling appointments, processing payments, answering phone calls, maintaining a clean environment, and filing. Excellent customer service skills are required. Prior experience is preferred but not necessary. Candidates must be able to pass a drug test. The schedule is Wednesday-Saturday from 9:00-5:00, with a lunch break from 1:00-1:30 (30 hours per week). We offer competitive pay💰.
