We’re out and about this week, and we could not be more excited!

Today you’ll find us at the Country Pickins Flea Market in Piedmont, swing by, say hi, and get a first look at the mobile clinic.

We’re here ‘til 4, so there’s still plenty of time to come meet the team.

Then on Thursday we’re headed to Poplar Bluff, and we’d love to see you there too.

Right now we’re all about getting to know our neighbors and letting folks know we’re coming to the community.

The best part is still ahead and when we’re ready to start caring for patients, we want you to be the first to know.

Soon this unit will be rolling into towns across our area, bringing care a whole lot closer to home.

For a lot of folks around here, “closer” makes all the difference. Less driving, less time off work, fewer reasons to put off getting seen.

We’re not open for patient visits just yet, but we’re getting there.

Every mile of prep is one step closer to showing up for the women, families, and neighbors who’ve waited too long for care to feel within reach.

We had a wonderful time at the Poplar Bluff Housing Authority Block Party today!

We were there to meet neighbors, share information, and start putting faces to names across the community.

A big thank you to everyone who came by our table to say hi.

And a big thank you to our team on the ground, including our Community Engagement Coordinator, Megan Tucker, for greeting neighbors and making everybody feel welcome all evening.

We’re not seeing patients just yet, right now it’s all about getting to know the community and making sure folks know we’re on our way.

Care closer to home is coming, and we can’t wait.

Southeast Missouri, we’re getting ready for you. 💛

We’re not seeing patients just yet, but next week we’re spending time out in the community, in the local spots where neighbors already gather.

It’s our way of showing up, becoming a familiar face, and making care feel a little closer to home for the families we’ll serve.

Here’s where we’ll be Aug. 3rd - 7th:

• Mon 8/3 - Country Pickins Flea Market, Piedmont · 10 AM - 4 PM
• Tue 8/4 - Community Block Party, PB Housing Authority · 5 - 7 PM
• Thu 8/6 - Country Pickins’, Poplar Bluff · 12 - 6 PM
• Fri 8/7 - Family Day Out, First Baptist Church · 11 AM - 2 PM

A long drive shouldn’t stand between you and getting the care you need, but for a lot of rural families, that’s exactly what it does.

We help close that gap. The idea is simple: bring care closer to the people who need it, so distance stops being the reason someone puts their health on hold.

The Missouri Highlands Mobile Clinic was built to do just that for our communities across Southeast Missouri.

There’s a lot ahead, and we’re excited to share it with you.

We’re not here seeing patients just yet, this week is all about meeting you, showing you around the unit, and answering your questions in person.

For a lot of families, “go see a doctor” isn’t as simple as it sounds.

It can mean a long drive, a day off work, gas money, and figuring out who watches the kids.

That’s the gap mobile clinics were built to close.

When care can travel, distance stops being the thing that decides whether someone gets seen.

A checkup, a screening, a little health guidance, these become reachable instead of one more thing that has to wait.

We believe good care shouldn’t depend on how far you live from it.

That’s the whole idea behind bringing a clinic to the community instead of asking the community to come to the clinic.
