Home Telehealth is a service provided by John J. Pershing VAMC which remotely monitors certain chronic conditions within the home and improves Veteran health outcomes.

It is a free self-management program that provides a link between the Veteran and their provider. Nurse care coordinators provide education and remotely monitor vital signs submitted during a brief health check each day. Home Telehealth monitors COPD, hypertension, hypotension, congestive heart failure, diabetes, depression, and PTSD.

If you or someone you care about uses opioids or nonprescribed stimulants, you should have naloxone on hand. Veterans can get it from VA for free.

Since VA started making naloxone available nationally to Veterans, it has documented more than 7,400 overdose reversals with naloxone.
