In January 2026 Schott Eye Care started training an AI assistant with the end goal of helping process patient requests. Her name is Emily. She is an AI (artificial intelligence), not a real person or employee of our business.

Long story short….

It has recently come to our attention that since some patient requests have become stuck in what can best be described as the “Emily loop” and not forwarded to our staff for processing. Also the contact on our website was somehow changed to the Emily number, and not direct office number was not on the site for a time.

We are working to rectify these problems.
