This is such an honor. I started this business in October 2019, right before Covid shut us all down. I was thrilled to stay afloat during 2020 and here we are 5 years later with this incredible honor. In this time I have added Natasha and Krystyna to the practice to support clients across Florida and I continue to offer support in Connecticut, Florida and North Carolina.
We offer therapeutic approaches across the board, including EMDR, Gottman for couples, CBT and DBT and support for youth with ADHD and their parents. We of course support those with anxiety and depression and have some fabulous psychiatric referral sources. Your vote means the world to us.

Did you know that my own mental health journey inspired me to become a therapist?
I earned my Master's degree when I was 43. After 20 years as a Dental Hygienist. After a year of cancer treatment.
When I went through treatment for breast cancer, I was struggling with some of the worst anxiety and depression I'd ever had. The support was non-existent from my treatment team. At least from a mental health perspective. On my very last day of treatment, the social worker came to me to ask me if there was anything she good do. 🤔
I originally thought I would go into oncology therapy, but the Universe had bigger plans for me. I love what I do and feel blessed to have the chance to support others on their self growth journey.

There's still time! Voting for the Best in Florida ends July 31.

We don't know how or by whom we were nominated, but we are honored to be in the running. Mental Health is often overlooked and carries so mnay stigmas that many people who struggle do so silently.

We have been taught that asking for help is a sign of weakness. Men believe they have to be strong and show no emotion. Women believe they have to be super mom. The real strength comes in admitting that life can be hard and reaching out for help.

Let's make sure we can reach every single person that is struggling in silence. We can also make sure that everyone has access to quality care. Not all therapeutic agencies are putting the clients' needs first. That is the exact reason I created Keley Sgroi LMHC LLC. I was working 40 hours a week, exhausted and barely able to make a difference for my clients because the agency was focused on billing. That's not how we operate. Our clients come first.
