We were excited to attend the Encompass Neuro Rehab Conference in Sarasota on Saturday, June 6, 2026, representing ActivAge Adult Day Care and ActivAge Home Care, and to share the many benefits our program provides to patients and their families.
A special thank you to Amber Simpson, Solutions Specialist for ActivAge, for speaking about how ActivAge supports individuals through meaningful engagement, socialization, cognitive stimulation, and compassionate care that enhances quality of life.
We packed up plenty of information, resources, and goodies to share with attendees, and it was a fantastic opportunity to connect with healthcare professionals who are dedicated to improving patient outcomes.

On June 5, 2026, ActivAge Home Care and ActivAge Adult Day were honored to participate in the Charlotte County Parkinson Symposium held at the Charlotte Harbor Event & Conference Center.
This incredible event brought together individuals living with Parkinson's disease, their families, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and community resources dedicated to improving quality of life and providing support.
We were grateful for the opportunity to connect with attendees, share information about our in-home care services and adult day programs, and learn from the many experts and advocates who are making a difference in the Parkinson's community every day.
At ActivAge, we remain committed to providing compassionate care, meaningful engagement, and support that helps individuals maintain independence and dignity while giving families peace of mind.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table, shared their stories, and made this event such a success. We look forward to continuing to serve and support the Charlotte County community.

Last week was full of connection, community, and meaningful moments for ActivAge Home Care and ActivAge Adult Care. 💛🌻
We had the pleasure of attending the Sunflower Lunch hosted by OCEAN, where we celebrated alongside so many wonderful community partners and professionals dedicated to serving seniors and their families.
Representing ActivAge Home Care and ActivAge Adult Care were Kris, Amber, Alyssa, Deborah, Melissa, and Amanda. Our team enjoyed connecting with fellow referral partners, sharing resources, and continuing to build relationships that help us better serve our community.
A special thank you to OCEAN for organizing another wonderful luncheon and creating opportunities for collaboration, networking, and support among local healthcare and senior service providers.
We are grateful to be surrounded by compassionate professionals who share the same commitment to care, support, and making a positive difference every day.

🩵 Happy Nurses Week Chris Waters! 🩵 This week, we are celebrating someone who has been part of the ActivAge story since the very beginning (the original "Chelsea Place") — our incredible Nurse Chris Waters!

Over a decade ago, a chance encounter at the Charlotte County Fairgrounds brought Chris into our world… and little did we know just how much she would come to mean to our families, our team, and our entire organization.

Chris is so much more than a nurse.

She has been our steady hand, our sounding board, our encourager, our coach, our counselor, our cheerleader, our therapist, and one of the biggest supporters of this mission from day one.

She has walked with us through every season — the early startup days from when we opened our assisted living community, through the growing pains, the hard days, the joyful days, the expansion, the storms, and all the moments in between.

Through it all, Chris has remained one of those rare people you can always count on.

What makes Chris so special is the way she cares with both wisdom and heart. She brings calm when things feel stressful. She brings perspective when things feel overwhelming.

She brings encouragement when the team needs it most. And she brings a deep love for the seniors we serve that has helped shape the culture of "Chelsea Place" (now ActivAge) from the very beginning.

Chris has been a rock for our ActivAge family!
