Since 1952, Visiting Nurse Association has provided a continuum of care including home health care, palliative care, private duty, and hospice care to the people of St. Clair, Sanilac, Lapeer, and Macomb counties. The St. Clair County Senior Citizens Millage was first passed in 1979. The rate has only increased twice (2 times!) in the past 45 years -- in 1986 and again in 2012. In 2022, the millage was actually decreased due to the Headlee Amendment.

We encourage you to vote YES on August 4!

Blue Water Home Care & Hospice is one of the 12 service providers to receive funding from this millage. Through the millage we receive funding to support the following programs allowing us to serve the seniors of our community:
- Private Duty Home Care
- Bereavement Services
- PERS Alert (Personal Emergency Response System)
- Blue Water Hospice Home room & board
