What is Private Duty Home Care?

The ability to remain in your own home as you age is an extremely important factor in quality of life. At Blue Water Home Care & Hospice, Private Duty Home Care clients are under the supervision of an RN, certified home health aides, and basic care providers. Our staff assist clients in the activities of daily living through scheduled appointments from as little as a few times a month to multiple visits per week. Activities and occurrence of visits are in accordance with the client’s specific plan of care. Each client’s care plan is customized to their needs while preserving their independence, maintaining in-home safety, and enhancing their quality of life.

These services are provided through Private Duty Home Care:
- Errands/grocery shopping
- Companionship
- Dementia or Alzheimer's care
- Meal preparation
- Monthly blood draws
- Cognitive stimulation
- Medication set-up & management
- Light housekeeping
- Personal care assistance
- Caregiver respite
- Vitals monitoring
